Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention that allows you to access your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is responsible for 90% of our total brain function. It holds memories, beliefs, habits and emotions that affect your daily life. Hypnosis is a tool to explore those beliefs, memories, habits and emotions, adopt a different perspective and create new patterns that can improve many areas of your life.
Hypnosis has been shown in studies to help overcome fears, relax, enhance public speaking skills, study more effectively, worry less, eliminate negativity, build confidence, increase productivity skills and improve self-esteem.
Most people are capable of being hypnotized. Have you ever been so engrossed in a television show or a book that you did not hear someone speaking to you? Your attention was so focused that you tuned everything else out - that was a form of hypnosis. If you are able to follow instructions and willing to use your imagination you are capable of being hypnotized.

EPR (Electro-Physiological Reactivity) Biofeedback Devices are designed for stress reduction and pain management. Biofeedback has been scientifically proven to help reduce stress that may be related to illness, injury or emotional trauma. This stress reduction can result in an overall improved sense of well-being, greater mental clarity, pain reduction and improved physical performance.
EPR Biofeedback is applied through of use of a device that communicates with the body using Galvanic Skin Response - a very accurate system based on the science of Quantum Physics. It is completely non-invasive using five comfortable straps around your wrists, ankles and forehead. A test is performed and results are shown in the computer software. This provides the practitioner with information about the state of the energy and stressors most prevalent in the body at that time. Based on this information EPR Biofeedback can be applied to help retrain the body's reaction to stressors. EPR Biofeedback’s communication with the client is not reliant on language, verbal, visual or conscious thought processes.
Halotherapy (dry salt therapy)
Halotherapy is a revolutionary fusion of nature and modern technology where specifically designed equipment, called Halogenerators, crush pure pharmaceutical grade salt into microscopic sizes and disperse them into a designated space such as a salt room.
Halotherapy is an inhalation of dry salt particles that is well recognized as a safe, natural and complementary form of health care throughout Western & Eastern Europe, and is growing significantly in the U.S. the past few years. Halotherapy was developed and clinically researched to help with respiratory and skin issues and to increase the overall immunity against viruses and bacteria.
Halotherapy helps with respiratory issues and skin conditions, enhances athletic performances, boosts the immune system and improves an overall sense of well-being! Everyone who breathes, young and old, benefit from regular Halotherapy.

Your Salt Room Session
Each salt room session lasts approximately 45 minutes. You can relax in a comfortable chair and simply breathe deeply to absorb the microparticles of salt into your airways. This salt may leave a slight white residue on your clothing so blankets are provided to cover your clothes if you feel the need. The floor of the salt room is covered with granulated Himalayan salt which feels like sand beneath your feet. Because the salt is antibacterial you are welcome to be barefoot in the salt room. If that doesn't appeal to you complimentary booties are provided to cover your feet. (Shoes and socks are not allowed in the salt room.)

Please note: the door to the salt room must remain closed once the session has started so if you arrive late for your scheduled session you will have to wait for the next session to begin if there is room available.

What can I say? The benefits of massage are many! Beyond stress relief, it is known to relieve postoperative pain, reduce anxiety, manage low back pain, help with fibromyalgia pain, reduce muscle tension, relieve tension headaches, helps lower blood pressure and even help you sleep better! I could go on but you get the idea.
I use various techniques based on my clients' needs. For relaxation I use light to medium pressure with my hands. For deeper work I incorporate the use of cups to help create space between the interstitial layers of tissue which promotes circulation and improved range of motion.
I am also creating a session that combines hypnosis with massage. What I know for sure: stress and pain in the body often have an emotional component. (For more information on this phenomenon I recommend the book, Molecules of Emotion by Candance Pert.) By combining these two powerful modalities clients will be able to relieve muscle tension and stress on an even deeper level. More information on this work coming soon!
